Intermediate (Class II-III)

Upper Big Horn Sheep Canyon is a scenic stretch of the Arkansas River featuring continuous Class II rapids, steep canyon walls, and frequent boulder gardens. This high-energy run is ideal for intermediate paddlers looking for mellow whitewater, dramatic scenery, and the chance to spot local wildlife.

Raft 5 miles of the river, offering breathtaking views of the Collegiate Peaks and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Raft through rapids such as Zoom Flume and Twin Falls. Lower Browns Canyon offers a scenic hike option as well as swimming and cliff jumping opportunities.

The extended trip travels 9 miles and tackles 7 class III rapids as you raft through Browns Canyon National Monument. Rafters will tackle rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, The Staircase, Widow Maker, and Raft Ripper. The 3/4 day gives paddlers the chance to raft through the Heart of Browns Canyon National Monument.
