Pine Creek offers the steepest whitewater on the Arkansas River. The trips start with a warm up through the Granite Gorge, where class III-IV Rapids such as Maytag, Bitchin Camaro, and Hopscotch will get you ready for Pine Creek.
After Scouting Pine Creek rapid with your guide, you will get the thrill of the steepest whitewater on the Arkansas River. Don’t worry… the whitewater is not over yet. 7 more miles of class III-IV whitewater through the numbers until you hit the takeout and a riverside lunch.
Participants must have prior whitewater paddling experience and be comfortable handling Class IV-V rapids. Good physical fitness is required, expect long days of paddling and scrambling on rocky riverbanks. Strong swimming ability in moving water and confidence in self‑rescue techniques are essential. Cancellation:
- Cancellation requests made up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled reservation start time will be eligible for a full refund.
- For cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation start time, no refunds will be provided.
Rebooking:
- Customers have the flexibility to rebook their reservation if needed.
- Rebooking can be done online through the confirmation email received at the time of reservation.
- Rebooking is permissible up to 1 week (7 days) before the original reservation start time.
- In the event that a rebooking is requested within the 72-hour window before the reservation start time, customers will have the option to choose an alternative date and time within the calendar year, subject to availability.
